The motor boat Eclipse is the newest as well as the largest super yacht in the world. It is the most luxurious and largest private yacht which is 0.5 meters longer than the Dubai yacht. This yacht is about 163.5 meters long and was delivered to Roman Abramovich on the 9th December 2010. It took almost five years for creating the intensive design, construction and development of this mega yacht.
At the Blohm and Voss yard of Hamburg in Germany the mega yacht Eclipse was built. Terence Disdale designed the interior as well as exterior of this huge yacht which was architected as Francis design. The Eclipse yacht has two helicopter pads, a disco hall, two swimming pools, 24 guest cabins and lots of hot tubs. It also features bullet-proof windows, sub-marines, armor plating, three launches and many more. Abramovich, the owner Eclipse yacht, also positioned an additional feature of anti-paparazzi laser for protecting his privacy when he’s cruising. This laser shield scans for the electric light sensors that are used in digital cameras, avoids taking of pictures on the yacht.
Eclipse has been designed and developed in a very intense and luxurious way. The interior of the yacht is dramatically styled with aesthetic design and layout which also includes the structure and construction of the super yacht. For operating the luxurious and super yacht, approximately 70 crew members are required. The owner’s deck accommodates 56m of the place and for providing services, up to 92 crew and individual staff of owner is required.
To get a close look of a cruise ship, Eclipse also has a small cinema, restaurant and a library also. Modern and classy elements are used for decorating the large lobby of the yacht. There are total 9 decks on the yacht having many fun activities like disco-club, entertainment, private garden and a lot more.
One of the very interesting things of this yacht which makes it even more unique is its speed. The maximum speed of this mega yacht is 26.2 knots whereas for cruising it is 25 knots. The Eclipse yacht is a pretty large and beautiful yacht with its stunning and stylish interior designs.
